About Us

Conceived by (pun intended) sister in laws Helen & Steph who are first and foremost two mams with ‘former-life’ careers. Both now creating a business that their children can not only be proud of, but be part of.

Helen & Steph have 20 years experience in education between them and a shared love for children- both renowned for their bubbly personalities. With a passion for early years development both are dedicated to creating a stimulating environment with experiences to allow babies and children to flourish.

The inspiration for the business came from having their own babies and a drive to create a family- orientated space for littles ones to learn & develop through play whilst mammies, daddies and care givers relax and enjoy the experience. Helen & Steph are devoted to bringing families everything they could ever have imagined for those early years adventures.

All of the activities offered at Social Butterflies have been designed to help develop fine motor and early literacy skills, encourage problem solving and teamwork as well as ensuring lots of fun and giggles along the way. For the tiny babies our baby area includes a variety of sensory based activities including quality wooden toys, carefully curated sensory baskets, and puzzles.
